Land Use Working Group – Call for Interested Tribal Members

The Pit River Tribe is seeking interested Tribal members to participate in the Land Use Working Group, a 5-member advisory group that will play an important role in the Tribe’s two-year comprehensive Land Use Assessment. This effort is led by a Consultant and the Tribal Planner and is funded through the California Jobs First grant to support long-term land use planning and economic development initiatives for the Tribe.

Ideal candidates will have experience or knowledge in any of the following areas:

  • Land use planning
  • Engineering
  • Economic development
  • Tourism
  • Natural resources
  • Community development
  • Or other relevant fields

Commitment & Stipend:
Selected members will participate in up to 12 meetings over two years, which may include in-person site visits. Members will receive a stipend for their time.

Requirements:
Participants must be able to engage objectively and disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may impact decision-making or recommendations.
