EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The Pit River Tribal Natural Resource Department has four full time seasonal positions (temporary) open for projects located on the XL-Reservation in Alturas.
Wages: $10.00 – $12.00 per hour DOE.
Duties: This is a labor demanding positions and is outdoors in all types of weather.
Projects range from cutting and stacking Juniper, building/repairing fence, digging fence holes, digging trenches by hand tools, working in water and riparian areas. Cutting, splitting and stacking wood. At times maybe needed to help ranch crew with projects.
You should be able to work with hand tools, shovels, digging bars, post hole diggers, T-post drivers.
Position Requirements: Must Pass Drug Screening, be of 18years of age, dependable, must be able to follow direction of crew boss or other supervisors.
Applicants with a current valid driver’s license and clean record a plus.
