Position Summary: Responsible for Daily store operations; including employee recruiting, hiring, supervision, scheduling, training.Store profitability; including inventory management and controls, maximizing sales and profit.Customer satisfaction; including implementing and using sound business practices that ensure quality customer service.This list of duties and responsibilities is illustrative only of the tasks performed by this position and is not all-inclusive.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maximize sales and profits by using sound business practices Implement procedures to control shrink, expenses and payroll Develop and execute programs which provide for optimum protection of company assets from loss due to internal and external theft, inaccurate record keeping and wastage.Ensure that merchandise is priced and billed properly and that the POS reflects the actual shelf priceResponsible for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly inventory checks.Be directly responsible for all fund reconciliation and inventory auditsPrepare or supervise preparation of all required paperworkOrder and receive merchandise, ensure that all merchandise delivered is priced and listed on the invoice and that all merchandise is counted before being signed for.Maintain controls for merchandise inventoryProvide day-to-day leadership and support regarding operational issues including; staffing, scheduling, payroll, safety, house-keeping and maintenance, book-keeping, cashier functions and adherence to standard policies and procedures.Change and confirm fuel prices on a daily basisPlan and prepare work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties.Responsible for assisting in the development and execution of programs, policies, and practices, which have customer satisfaction as the central operation objective.Practice sound security measures at all times while securing money, records, information and equipment.Direct and participate in the stocking and merchandising of the sales floor including maximizing capacity of selling fixtures, visual presentation and floor models.Responsible for employee development and the staffing of all departments with qualified, well-trained personnel. Ensure personnel actions are consistent, organized, timely, thorough, fair, and legal.Maintain consistent performance standards for all employees. Identify and analyze problems and develop appropriate solutions.Demonstrate leadership and promote teamwork, provide training, performance feedback and coaching to store employees.Lead personnel in the identification of operational problems and put into place policies and procedures to solve such problems.Maintain employeeandrsquo;s files and records.Maintain a positive and professional work environmentMaintain positive and professional communication with vendors, managers, co-workers, employees.Maintain facilities in excellent condition.Perform other duties as required.

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred and five years, business and management experience in customer service, operations or sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug / alcohol screen, background investigation. Knowledge, Abilities, Skills and Certifications: Ability to hire, provide direction to and develop internal personnel; identify strategic issues and develop short / long range plans; provide direction to and manage personnel; and develop effective programs / systems to maximize performance Knowledge of POS software such as Triple E Knowledge of IT Knowledge of retail fuel and charge accounts Knowledge of cash register operations, sales methods and techniques Knowledge of all the products / items in the store.
