Full Time Accountant Position
The KWAHN Corporation is a corporate Charter of the Pit River Tribe (PRT) a Federally Recognized Tribe; KWAHN Corp. is now accepting applications for a full time accountant position.
This position shall be in accordance with Best Business practices.
The accountant must be a responsible, qualified financial accountant preferable CPA, and must be able to perform financial reconciliations and all financial reports in accordance with accepted principles and guidelines includes all transactions, invoicing and closing reports . Perform a full scope of financial review, reconciliations where needed for a gas station convenience store utilizing point of sale software, the contractor will work closely with the staff Bookkeeper to ensure business is conducted in accordance with the general accepted financial principles. The KWAHN Corp. financial will address the full scope of its Convenience stores and fuel station operations in working with the Bookkeeper. The KWAHN utilizes a point of sales system software and Business Works sage software system for accounting purposes. This is a full time (40) hours per week salaried exempt position.
The report package must include: Financial Statements, Revenues and expenses, profit and loss, opinion on the financial statements, and required supplemental reports, report on Internal control related to the financial statements, report on compliance with laws, non-compliance that could have a material effect on the financial statements, review point of sales / cost of goods sold statements and provide an analysis, and reconciliation if necessary. The accountant will work with the bookkeeper on quarterly financial reports. Other services as may be required.
Resumes and application should be submitted with the following criteria: qualifications with prior experience and references in financial accounting with businesses of similar nature. Applicants claiming Indian Preference must attach proof of Indian Ownership with the proposal.
Cover letters should include Description of in charge accountant experience for work described. Describe how you will approach the financial reports required for reconciliation and review of the KWAHN Corp., and the areas that will receive primary emphasis.

Evaluation of Applications: The KWAHN Board will evaluate applications on a qualitative basis. This includes interviews, and background checks, completeness of application and resumes.
